5 interviews + a recruiter screen. No real problems during the interviews themselves, no red flags that any of them had gone poorly. However, after the completion of the loop and the hours involved, they ghosted. Not even an auto-generated Dear John reply. Tells me all I need to know about this org. In a delightful twist of fate, the org I just started at was looking at hosting facilities and this company was on the shortlist to review. First thing I did was remove them from consideration on the grounds that a previous professional dealing with them led me to believe they could not be a trusted partner. No company that de-values the time of candidates is a worthy business partner.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Digital Realty (Amsterdam) in Jul 2023
Interview
I applied through LinkedIn. Had a screening call with the recruiter who was very nice. This was followed by an interview with the manager, who seemed to rather focus on my weaknesses and language barrier as I am a non-Dutch speaker (she asked me: how do you plan to overcome the fact that we Dutch people just prefer to speak Dutch to eachother). I found that odd considering if fluency in Dutch was a prerequisite for the role, why are they interviewing me? Moreover if your operation is in English why does it matter if I (don't) speak Dutch?
Somehow passed that and had to do a personality questionnaire followed by a final meeting with the HR director. I was rejected on the final round due to me not having enough experience for the role, which was quite disappointing as I was clear about my experiences from the beginning of the interview process.
The whole process took around a month. I think it could have been handled a little better.
