1) Recruiter reached out, and I had a phone screening and provided some background information
2) I met with hiring managers. 45 minutes each over Hangouts
3) Moved on to the next stage, which was an interview with a googler in an adjacent role
4) Team matching, and moving on to the hiring committee
5) Waiting for hiring committee decision
6) Hiring committee decision is made, and the offer process started
The whole process from application to start date took 3 months.
My recruiter was fantastic throughout. Ensured I was well prepared, and I had an opportunity to speak to a googler in a similar role to help with prep. Expect typical behavior questions where you highlight your experience in a way that complements the role.
