I applied online. I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA) in Nov 2025
Interview
It went very smooth, the interviewers were nice but were strict on time even though we had lost the first five minutes of the interview due to audio issues. Interview portion was 5 minutes of resume checking and the rest for technical coding questions.
The process consisted of an online assessment followed by two technical interview rounds conducted over Google Meet. The interviews focused on data structures and algorithms, problem-solving ability, and coding clarity. Interviewers were friendly and encouraged thinking out loud. One round emphasized coding efficiency, while the other focused more on edge cases and optimization. Overall, the experience was structured and professional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to solve a problem on detecting cycles in a directed graph and determine whether a valid course schedule was possible.
2 rounds interview, 1 hour each. No behavior questions, only coding using Google docs. Interviewers are all from Seattle and holding a straight face all the time. Why it is so hard to make it 30 words?
