I applied online. I interviewed at JLR (Warwick, North West England, England) in May 2017
Interview
In 2 stages. First was just an online test then followed by assessment centre. Assessment centre had 3 parts to it: management quiz, interview, group exercise. The interview questions were mostly behavioural type questions and from the feedback I received, it seems like they literally just mark you based on the company's values. So just prepare your stories that align with the values of the company

Question 1
What do you think are the challenges facing the automotive industry?
Applied online and received invite to an assessment day. There were three parts; a face-to-face interview with a manager, a group exercise and a multiple
-choice test based on managerial priorities
I applied through other source. I interviewed at JLR (Wolverhampton, Engeland) in Jun 2017
Interview
Had an 1:30 interview in May. It went really well. After two weeks I received a phone call to clear up my availability and to let me know that the director thought I was a very good fit for the position. Another 3 weeks and I went for the second interview with the hiring manager. For my surprise, he didn't ask me one single question about my experience or about my knowledge in HR. He only spoke about the position and its complications that I would have to face. Not even once he asked me also any behavioral question. After four weeks, without any answer, I called JLR and was instructed to email the HR consultant. Another two weeks to receive a feedback saying that I didn´t answer any of the hiring manager technical questions in the same level as the other candidate. Very, very, very frustrating! If this kind of situation can happen in a interview, I can imagine how it is working inside JLR.
