I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at JLR (Royal Leamington Spa, England) in Feb 2016
Interview
Group exercise, in-tray exercise and one-to-one interview. The morning was organised very well, staff made us feel comfortable to the point where we all found the group exercise quite enjoyable! I'd recommend managing time well on the in-tray exercise as there's plenty to do. The interview was quite informal, one-to-one style was less intimidating.

I applied online. I interviewed at JLR in Feb 2016
Interview
Online tests and then straight to assessment centre. 3 stages at assessment centre, group exercise, in tray exercise and face to face interview. Interview was all competency based, nothing on why JLR and why HR.
Group exercise, each had information about a specific car and all had the same information about a fictional market.
Had to as a group discuss each car and say which you would place into the market.
In tray exercise multiple choice, but I found this very hard. Had to say things like whether it was a high or low priority, when it should be done, who by etc in response to emails.
