The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Santa Rosa, CA) in Jun 2010
Interview
Very standard process. Submitted an on-line application and got a response within a month. When the recruiter couldn't get ahold of me by phone, she sent me an e-mail. The manger that I interviewed with was very nice and fairly casual. She assured me that everyone goes through an extensive hiring process, but well worth it once you get in.

Group panel will test your knowledge in accounting. After hiring, the drug test is required. Department was very slow to respond to new employees. Alot of the work is redundant and inefficient however managers keep insisting that it is best to be redundant than sorry. Very slow to react to innovative ideas.

I had applied a great deal online. While on vacation, just about to enter the Grand Canyon, the recruiter called. She interviewed me over the phone. I have not be called for a face to face interview yet, but I continue to apply and occasionally speak to the recruiter.
