I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Koch (Wichita, KS) in Sep 2010
Interview
Initial phone interview then a multi-person phone interview. Travel arranged to location. All paid including rent a car. Very scheduled day with multi person interviews. Lunch in their cafe during an interview. Wrap up with your chaperone. Return rent a car to airport and fly back home. They call to follow up either way.
Interview was behavioral based style. Very in-depth and intrusive interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about failure and tell me about a time when you did not succeed. It was a very backwards interview designed to keep you thinking and to really drill down on ALL your skills.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Koch in Nov 2009
Interview
Long interview, fairly infocused. They asked a lot about people management skills for a position that required none. The interviewer was friendly, but seemed distracted (multitasking?) . Overall good experience for me, but I found out later that the job was not as good as it had been presented.
They also never gave me an answer back, I just had to figure out that after a few weeks that they didn't want me. Wasn't too sad, but I would have liked to know beforehand.

What is your experiencing managing international staff?
