I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at NHS (Birmingham, Engeland) in Jan 2015
Interview
Initial application with generic questions i.e. Why this role, achievement most proud of to date, example of a time you worked in a team.
Then a numerical test for which passing provided access to interview with 3 existing employees and meet and greet with existing grad scheme members.
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at NHS (Bristol, Engeland) in May 2011
Interview
Applied online on NHS jobs, then sent an email instructing of the interview date and time. Can accept or decline online. It gives you the job description, personal specification and, once an interview has been offered, any presentation that might need to be given.
The interview itself was poorly conducted; in a back office, surrounded by piles of paper which kept falling everywhere which was distracting.
Entire process took a long time; applied in April, interviewed in May but didn't start until middle of September due to HR issues. Lots of forms to fill out due to extended DBS clearance needed and HCPC registration.
In the interview they started by asking personal questions (why work here, strengths etc) then moved on to the technical aspect of radiography. It end with a set of films to read and interpret.
The panel were very friendly and there was a tour given by one of the staff members so the team got to meet the candidate and give their own feedback - this is also part of the process! The panel was quite vague about how to get the results/feedback though as they did not seem to know/understand the process.
