I applied online. I interviewed at Penguin Random House in Nov 2020
Interview
About a month after submitting a resume and cover letter online, I received a call from a recruiter to set up a screening. After that went well, I had a video interview a week later with the two editors I would work with. After a few days, I was given an assignment to complete and return in a timely manner. I followed up after not hearing back for a week and was told they needed more time. A few days after that, I was informed in a polite and personal email that I was not chosen. Overall a very good process, it just took a little longer because they interviewed mannnnyyy people.

Question 1
What do you read?
How was it working at ___previous job____? What did you do there?
How do you stay organized?
I submitted an application through the company site, had an HR interview followed by an interview with the editor, and then evaluated a manuscript. The HR portion was very much a classic behavioral interview; the interview with the editor was much more conversational.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (Londen, Engeland) in Sep 2020
Interview
Applied online, filling out a CV and Cover Letter. Had to include two paragraphs answering questions on 'organisation' and 'creativity', along with a section about you and previous experience. Overall the first stage of this process was fairly simple.
