Penguin Random House Editorial Assistant interview questions

I was contacted solely by an HR person for an interview and showed up for my interview the standard 10 minutes early. I waited for at least 20. Once in the interview the HR person was so robotic and cold that I felt incredibly uncomfortable. The questions are standard but with little room for detail positive embellishment. I was just relieved when it was over.

A brief phone interview with HR, followed by an in-person interview with HR during which the recruiter asked basic questions about why I was qualified for the job. This was followed by an interview with the prospective manager, where we discussed the specific role and determined if I would be a good fit.
