Although it was easy they sent a generic rejection email.
I have heard from many interviewees and employees that they are not really looking for employees,
And the treatment of women is not good
So unfortunately it felt like a waste of time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Return a number ie the shortest route using Dijkstra between ppl and their connections
I was referred to a position, and the recruiter emailed me a few days later to schedule a screening interview. On the day of the interview, the recruiter canceled because she was too busy. I rescheduled the interview, but it was conducted via video instead of phone, and I was late to join because I forgot about it. I take responsibility for being late, but the recruiter had a negative attitude about it and mentioned that no one reads the invites anymore. During the interview, the recruiter took a personal call, put me on hold, and then abruptly said she had to go and hung up on me. I emailed her to reschedule, but none of the proposed times worked for her. Feeling disrespected, I decided to withdraw my application. I did not receive any response after withdrawing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Initially, they came on strong and accused me of changing jobs often, implying flightiness, even though no other recruiter had asked me this before. I've interviewed 100+ times in the past year.
Careful with the quality of the recruitment process. I interviewed with person with initials KR.
- they don't appear to have read your resume, I mean at all
- late to join, fighting audio issue, and with these distractions, recruiter's mind seemed to have already moved onto the weekend
- done her roasting, but when the table turned for my questions, recruiter came off disingenuous
For all the talks this company spit out about building stronger culture and emphasizing on people, I haven't experienced anything close.
