At ING, we are proud of our Crossing team for organising a meaningful evening to celebrate Nowruz, the Persian New Year. 🧡🌿 In a time of uncertainty and war, it was especially powerful to see so many Iranian and non Iranian colleagues come together. The event became a moment of solidarity, reflection, and connection. The Crossing team shared the history and symbolism of Nowruz and the Haft‑sin table, while a surprise appearance by Hajji Firuz (Abdorreza Mohagheghi), who brought music and energy to the evening. We also reflected on a poem (Majid Abarghooei) by Hafez and a beautiful Farsi expression, “delam barat tang shode”, which means: “my heart has become tight for you”. It is a beautiful reminder that at ING, language and culture aren't just for communication, they are for deep human connection. Thank you to everyone who joined and helped make this a warm and inclusive celebration. Here’s to a year of paving the road together toward a more inclusive and hopeful future. 🌷

Hazel is officieel open! 🎉 Woensdag was een bijzonder moment voor ING Leeuwarden: ons volledig vernieuwde kantoor Hazel is feestelijk geopend. Met confettikanonnen, trotse collega’s en in aanwezigheid van burgemeester Sybrand Buma, CEO Peter Jacobs en COO Danny Nijhuis gaven we Hazel het officiële startsein. One day. Two NGOs. Real impact. 🤩 ING colleagues from across the organisation came together for a high-energy Hackathon. Through the @INGNederlandFonds, we related to two NGOs. We had one goal: turn expertise into social impact. 🔶 Stichting Dignita We built a bold marketing and communications plan to amplify Dignita’s mission: giving people in vulnerable situations a new perspective through learning and working programs within its social enterprises. Purpose, told with power. 🔶 Rapid Intervention We tackled trust at scale. The challenge: designing a watertight system to upload and verify photography, strengthening the world’s fastest giving network and ensuring help reaches those who need it most. What stood out? When skills meet purpose, impact accelerates. Together, we don’t just think big. We do big. 🚀
