I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at ING (Amsterdam) in Aug 2018
Interview
First interview with the hiring manager and the CPO. After a marketing flash about ING' ambitions I asked about what ING is currently looking for and the answer was : "we are not sure ....probably a buyer but we are not sure".Next a lot of technical questions in order to provide "free of charge " answers.(How did you make savings with Supplier X ?).After almost one and a half hour I left the building and 30 minutes after that I received a call from the hiring Manager informing me that actually ING is looking for a "consultant " in Procurement with more experience than me .
Disappointed how companies like ING are treating people or maybe the hiring manager has seen me as a threat for his position :-)
Ussually when hiring managers are hunting for “ free of charge consultancy” during fake interviews it means they are incompetent and they have only donkies around/working for them.
I presume their Big boss will have to clean up his kitchen.
