I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Navan in Jun 2019
Interview
A recruiter reached out the next day to set up a call. She seemed nice it went well & I was invited to interview with a VP of Sales who sits out of HQ with a date set for two weeks later. 30 minutes before the interview was scheduled to start, it was rescheduled with a date set another 2 weeks later. That experience and the interview made it clear to me that this was not a company that respects a candidate's time. The Interview process was okay, but I can't say I was impressed with the VP given that she couldn't back up claims of what their software was capable of or know her numbers. The fact that I needed to follow up multiple times to get status updates was unpleasant. No specific feedback either despite the claim that they would "Answer any questions" I might have.
I hoped my experience was the exception & not the rule but it doesn't seem like it.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I'm disappointed to hear about your negative experience interviewing with our Sales team, and will work with them to improve the interview process and candidate experience for future candidates. While we strive to be as transparent as possible during the interview process, as a private company there are certain numbers and data that we aren't able to share publicly.
We strive to deliver a great candidate experience throughout our interview process and I'm sorry that we let you down. I hope that we can earn your trust back in the future.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Navan (Palo Alto, CA) in Dec 2017
Interview
The interview process was quick, yet flexible. They are looking for very talented sales people who can prove they have a growth mindset. I first met with a recruiter who went through the normal qualification questions and detail, I then had a call with the sales director and head of recruiting (over the phone), after that I had an onsite interview with the CEO and Sales Director.
