I had 8 years of eCom payments background and knew two people at Checkout so I applied online, both team members said they would discuss my work history with HR and the hiring manager.
Initial phone call with HR, and a video call with hiring manager. During the video call, my candidacy was dismissed about 10 minutes in, because I didn't have the specific payments background they were looking for. This is fine, but I shouldn't have even gotten to that point if that was the deal breaker. The manager mentioned they were unwilling to train even though they thought the rest of my background was strong.
About a week later, a former colleague did a video interview for the same role, had the same "gap", and the exact same manager mentioned that it wasn't a major deal and training would be provided.
I doubt things changed within a week and to hear about this was frustrating. If there are double standards in the interview process, then there certainly is within the company culture.

I really enjoyed the interview process, I felt as though there was as much focus on them liking me as there was on me liking them/the firm. Very encouraging and nice HR contact guiding me through the different stages. All round, super enjoyable process.

Interview
Received an email asking for availability for a first interview. Never heard back from the company, even when I followed up a couple of times if they needed more time slots. Completely unprofessional.
